      antelope canyon sand
Easter weekend 2011 my good friend and fellow photographer, Cindy Wentzloff (CynthiaG Photography) suggested at the last minute to take a long weekend trip to Page, AZ. Sure, why not. Well, 1,500 miles later and almost 2,000 photos between us, we returned to Colorado.

Saturday morning we woke to a drizzling rain in Page, AZ. However, by the time we arrived at the entrance to Antelope Canyon there were breaks in the clouds. Once inside, where we were not allowed to use flash photography, the beams of sunlight showed up from time to time. Our guide set the stage for the flowing sand. It is all natural light and long exposures. What a cool way to sample the effects of the canyon.

Visit my Photo Shoots and Adventures in 2011. There are a lot more images from our trip to page, az. Enjoy
