      coors field archway
Saturday morning - February 20, 2010 - Snow was in the forecast and the skies were hazy with poor visibility. Instead of heading for the mountains, I decided to head for downtown Denver. Little traffic and fewer people this early on a Saturday morning - just the people clearing the sidewalks of the little snow we did have overnight.

At the Wyncoop Street entrance to Coors Field is this archway - 'The Evolution of Balls'. Built in 1995, it was patterned after the gold-mine tressel of days gone by. There are 108 ceramic balls on the east and west side of the pillars made by Denver artist Barry Rose.
