Hoosier Pass- View from the Continental Divide

hoosier pass
On Highway 9 out of Breckenridge, heading towards Fairplay you have to go over Hoosier Pass. There were many people parked there getting ready to board some of the steep slopes here. Looking back to the north - toward Breck - you can see Lake Dillon and also the peaks of the Front Range of the Rockies. Hoosier Pass is located on the Continental Divide.

Hoosier Pass is the highest point on the TransAmerica Trail, a transcontinental bicycle route that stretches from Yorktown, Virginai to Astonia, Oregon.
