Hiking along the Phone Line Trail in Sabino Canyon, Tucson, AZ we find many
Saguaro cactus - looking tall, strong and like soldiers throughout the canyon. Then, rounding a bend in the trail stands a cactus that
had seen better days. I found it fascinating to see what these giants of the desert look like on the inside. Fascinating!
