Have you driven, flown or just by living in Denver, noticed to the west in the late evening the cross on the hill? Do you know
that is Mt Lindo? Mt Lindo is a cemetery and mausoleum resting on top of the mountain - elevation 7,802 ft. It affords wonderful views of Denver and the Front Range as well as being
a place of reverance for those who have passed this way.
I have seen that cross for many years and finally decided to find out where it is. There is a gated entrance that is open to the public during daylight
hours but it is well worth the trip. The views are awesome but as a place of reverance, it is superb. What a unique final resting place!
