On Saturday, October 16, 2010, I left early, another predawn start, heading north of Boulder, CO. At
Rollinsville, I left paved road, heading toward the East Portal of the Moffat Tunnel - a 7 mile long train tunnel that goes under the Continental Divide -
emerging at Winter Park. However, before the tunnel was built, trains crossed the Divide by going over Rollins Pass - my destination this day.
