On an early morning hike on the Phone Line Trail up Sabino Canyon, we were greeted with many
areas of bright color - so striking in contrast to the drab hues for most of the desert. However, being high up on the cliffs of the canyon, these
flowers get great morning sun but not the scorching afternoon blast.
