On Saturday, September 25, 2010, I picked up my good friend and fellow photographer Sequoia for was likely our last
photo trip into the mountains before she moves to California. We have enjoyed many such mornings driving, enjoying each others company and getting some great shots in places
off the beaten path. Our destination was Steamboat Springs but our goal was to try to capture some of the autumn scenes we were being blessed with seeing.
With that said, I should explain that while I have titled this the Steamboat Springs trip, we were only in Steamboat Springs briefly and then
headed back over Rabbit Ears Pass. I didn't realize that continuing through Steamboat Springs was going to keep taking us further west so it became
our turnaround point. Thus there are no actual images here of Steamboat Springs itself. I apologize for any confusion.
