Easter weekend 2011 my good friend and fellow photographer, Cindy Wentzloff
(CynthiaG Photography) suggested at the last minute to take a long weekend trip to
Page, AZ. Sure, why not. Well, 1,500 miles later and almost 2,000 photos between us, we returned to Colorado.
I have to admit it but I made a wrong turn in Durango that cost us well over an hour on our trip. However, it took us north towards Silverton and
to the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Not being content to just get a photo of the stream, I climbed out on the rocks to the middle of
the stream and knelt down to get this shot. It was while kneeling I realized how precarious my position truly was. Fortunately, I did not
fall in.
