Easter weekend 2011 my good friend and fellow photographer, Cindy Wentzloff
(CynthiaG Photography) suggested at the last minute to take a long weekend trip to
Page, AZ. Sure, why not. Well, 1,500 miles later and almost 2,000 photos between us, we returned to Colorado.
I have to admit it but I made a wrong turn in Durango that cost us well over an hour on our trip. However, it took us north towards Silverton and
to the beautiful San Juan Mountains. The sun was setting but casting beautiful light on the trees and streams. We stopped and hiked around
this stream for about 30 minutes before heading on our way - still going the wrong way.
