Mother's Day Weekend, May 7 - 9, 2010 was spent in Winter Park, CO. Since the ski season was over, there
was very little traffic, the weather was great, snow was still on the mountains but the all the main roads were dry. The plan was to explore early spring
photo opportunities - planned or impromptu.
There was a wetland area directly behing the condo, just off Main Street in Winter Park, that showed signs of color and hopefully some other surprises. Trips were
planned to nearby Fraser, Granby, Grand Lake and various access points to the National Forest. Each of these images has an explanation of where the picture was
taken and possibly some history or other pertinent information about it.
